Sasha Obama shows off her fierce workout style

Sasha Obama showed off her casual-cool style as she wrapped up a workout in Los Angeles on Monday – just weeks after dad Barack Obama admitted that his daughters are too cool for him to keep up with.

Sasha, 25, was seen leaving celeb-loved gym Equinox, wearing a pair of cornflower-blue spandex workout shorts and a black zip-up exercise jacket.

The gym’s clientele includes A-listers like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Mark Wahlberg.

She carried a large, quilted black bag over her shoulder, completing the look with a pair of flip-flops and a bright yellow manicure on her nails.

In her ears, she wore a pair of Apple AirPods, and pulled her hair back in a half-up, half-down style. 

The 25-year-old, who graduated from The University of Southern California in 2023, lives in Los Angeles with older sister Malia, 28. 

However, on this trip to the gym, Sasha appeared alone.  

The sighting comes just a few weeks after her father admitted that his daughters were not only cooler but funnier than he is.

The 25-year-old, who gradated from The University of Southern California in 2023, lives in Los Angeles with her older sister, Malia, 28

‘They are cooler, smarter, funnier… Those two, Malia and Sasha are all that,’ the former President told People in a June interview with his wife, Michelle. 

‘If I were their age… I can barely keep up with them at the dinner table now, if I was their contemporary, I would just sit there,’ he added.

Michelle also shared that the couple still keep their primary residence in Washington, DC, as that’s where many of the girls’ friends are still located.  

‘We still live in D.C. Our primary, primary residence is there because that’s where the kids’ friends are,’ Michelle Obama told the outlet.

‘When the kids come home from being away, they want to be with their friends,’ she explained.

Elsewhere in the interview, Michelle also praised the younger generation. 

‘As my mom would say about us, and I have to say this about Malia and Sasha, as wonderful as they are, they just reflect back what their generation has to offer,’ the former first lady said.

‘There are millions of amazing young people like our girls, and we see them every day,’ she shared.

The family of four was recently seen all together as they opened The Obama Presidential Center in Chicago in June.

During her speech at the Obama Presidential Center, Michelle gushed that there had not been a single second in their marriage where she was not ‘left in awe.’

She also commended Barack for his ‘truest essence, stubborn optimism and unflinching courage.’

In addition, Michelle paid tribute to what she said was Barack’s ‘dazzling brilliance, unpretentious decency, ferocious work ethic and unshakable moral fiber.’
